Hope, healing, and belonging for every child and family.
We respond to challenges with individualized support, not by limiting access to care. Our team is trained to meet needs with flexibility, compassion, and trauma informed practices so children and families can stay engaged in services and keep moving toward stability.
Bellewood & Brooklawn was formed in 2012 through the merger of two historic organizations with a shared commitment to children in need. Together, our combined legacy spans more than 175 years of service across the Commonwealth.

Bellewood Home for Children began in 1849 and evolved over generations to meet changing needs, expanding from an orphan care model into broader child and family services. The Bellewood legacy remains foundational to who we are today.

Brooklawn Child & Family Services has a long history of adapting to community needs, with a focus on treatment and support for children and adolescents. Brooklawn’s clinical legacy strengthens our trauma informed continuum of care today.
We support children and families through a continuum of behavioral health and family services across Kentucky, including residential treatment, therapeutic foster care and adoption, community based services, and outpatient therapy options when available.
If you are looking for admissions or referrals for residential services, please call (502) 451-5177.
The work of healing and stability is made possible through the partnership of supporters across Kentucky. If you would like to learn how to get involved, visit our Supporters page or explore our services.
