Bellewood & Brooklawn works to provide love and hope to children with specific environmental, emotional, and educational needs through our Therapeutic Foster Care in Kentucky. Unlike other programs, ours offers intense training and 24/7 support to parents in order to provide children in Kentucky with a secure, nurturing home.
Our Independent Living program seeks to help young adults who are homeless but were in State’s care on their 18th birthday or are currently committed to the State’s care system.
The Family Preservation Program (FPP) is a short-term, family-based crisis intervention program designed to assist families in crisis by improving parenting and family functioning while keeping children safe.
Our Intensive In-Home services can be provided to young people in the home, in the community or in our offices. Designed to help families prevent out-of-home placements and/or inpatient hospitalizations.
Common Sense Parenting® (CSP) is a practical, skill-based parenting program that every family can use. The program’s logical strategies and easy-to-learn techniques address issues of communication, discipline, decision-making, relationships, self-control and school success.
Bellewood & Brooklawn is also a founding member of True Up, a collaborative movement spearheaded by non-profit agencies in Metro Louisville to enhance services for foster youth.
“It was really cool. I was a resident. We did all kinds of neat stuff. We did fun activities. And the staff is really nice and polite to me and my peers, and they took me to my first Louisville basketball game. I enjoyed it. Thank you guys so much. They taught me a lot. I will always miss you guys!”
